This will replace the overlock in your forge for the one you want. You go in the save editor and click the left most button on the overlock you have in your forge to lock it, and then you click on the middle button on the one you want. If you want to add a overclock you need to have an unforged overclock in your forge for the class that you want that specific overclock on. Leveling and prestige stuff corrupts immediately. Numeric values like blank matrix cores, minerals, scrips seems to work at times. If you add them in the wrong way it corrupts the whole reward system for the future unlocks.
However, if the design decisions which make save editing a very attractive prospect were to be addressed (for example, by making it not take an indeterminately long demoralizing grind to unlock a specific weapon overclock), a decent amount of the demand for save editors would vanish, and probably save you lot from a decent amount of save editor-related bug reports in the long-term.īe very careful with adding overclocks, they've changed how they store them so it is very volatile to edit OC's. Seeing as unlocking these desired overclocks is very likely to take several months (at minimum) unless the player gets really lucky (due to the time gate in the way of unlocking overclock cores), this naturally induces demand within players for some way to avoid this mind-numbing grind where the end is never in sight - making save editing a particularly attractive prospect. As it stands, a player is only able to earn up to 6 weapon overclocks per week (due to the time gating on earning blank matrix cores/infused weapon overclock cores), which prevents players from being able to use certain overclocks which they may particularly want to use (which is especially problematic when a player is seeking a particular meta overclock for their build, or they want one of the overclocks which open up new sources of fun (such as Special Powder, RJ250, Hyper Propellant, etc)). Maybe a better long-term approach would be to address some of the underlying issues with DRG's progression which incentivize the use of save editors in the first place?įor example, unlocking weapon overclocks.
